    The Kaman Kalehöyük Archaeological Museum and Japanese Garden; The Kaman Kalehöyük Archaeology Museum is right next to the excavation area. Inspired by Kalehöyük’s own form, the museum was built in the form of a mound and is designed to enable visitors to observe both excavation methods and the artefacts unearthed. Next to the excavation quarters is the Japanese Garden (Mikasanomiya Memorial Garden), the largest such botanical garden outside the borders of Japan, built by the Japanese who conducted excavations in Kalehöyük.

    Kentpark; This contemporary promenade area in the centre of Kırşehir is within walking distance from important historical destinations in the centre.

    The Ahi Evran Complex: Ahi Evran-ı Veli was the founder of the Ahi Organization in Anatolia. He wrote books about tafsir, hadith, kelam, fikh and Sufiism and was also a versatile scientist with knowledge in the fields of philosophy, medicine, and chemistry. The Ahi Evran Social Complex (Ahi Evran Külliyesi) is where the tomb of Ahi Evran-ı Veli is situated. The complex is in the Ahi Evran quarter in the Kırşehir provincial centre. The complex is estimated to have been established as a simple zawiyah (zaviye) in the 14th century and was the spiritual centre of Turkish craft connoisseurs during the rule of the Ottoman Empire.

    The Tomb of Ahi Evran was included in Türkiye’s UNESCO Cultural Heritage Tentative List in 2014.

    The Cacabey Astronomy Madrasa; One of the historical structures in Kırşehir, the Cacabey Astronomy Madrasah (Cacabey Gökbilim Medresesi) was built in 1272 by Nureddin Jibril bin Cacabey, the Governor of Kırşehir at that time. The madrasa offered studies in mathematics, astronomy and science.

    Kırşehir Drum-Clarinet Show; In Kırşehir, the first place that comes to mind in Türkiye for drum-clarion music and performances – Drum Master Adam Göçer was selected as a UNESCO Living Human Treasure in 2017.

    Underground cities: Kepez Underground City (Kepez Yeraltı Şehri), in the Mucur district of Kırşehir and one of the most well-ordered underground cities in the Cappadocia region, has become a centre of attention for visitors with its architecture and bicoloured soil structure. It consists of ternate groups of halls in rectangular form, and galleries and tunnels connecting these halls.

    Lake Seyfe: The lake is 16 km from Kırşehir’s Mucur district and features several islands of various sizes, as well as thousands of birds. The mounds around the lake, the naturalness of the surrounding vegetation, and the view of the turquoise waters and flocks of birds offer an extraordinary experience.

    Onyx; A semi-precious stone also known as veined agate, onyx is multi-layered and multicoloured. The onyx stone is identified with Kırşehir, and is generally used to make souvenirs and decorative objects or in interior design with its limited production.

    The Neşet Ertaş Museum; The Neşet Ertas Gönül Sultans Culture House exhibits musical instruments from the minstrelsy tradition. The different instruments displayed in the museum offer taped descriptions, by which visitors can listen to information on the exhibits and the musicians themselves. The museum also features images and information on the different minstrels of Anatolia. Aiming to bridge the past and the future, the museum has a special section in memory of Neşet Ertaş.     The Kırşehir Hot Springs; Protected and operated by the Ministry of Tourism, the Kırşehir hot springs have natural geothermal waters. These waters are believed to have healing qualities and are extremely popular among both domestic and international tourists.
